Metal Detecting-”Plug Digging Technique”

Hey, everyone when you first start off metal detecting… I believe that one of the key rules for us detectorists should be on how to properly remove a plug of soil without it looking like a major excavation just happened!! After all… The whole Idea is to make the area we search look like it has never been touched! And by following this excellent technique… You will look professional and caring to any onlookers who happen to see you out in the field!

Which you may come to find out later, adds to your credibility as Detectorist of the highest caliber!! And who knows may also lead to others after seeing how careful you are… “Asking if you can help them find objects that they might have lost” And in turn get you an invite to hunt there property….
